What makes MyStudentGroups different than other software solutions?

Simply put, there’s a world of difference in terms of flexibility and ease of use. There’s no software to install on your school's server, no complex configuration (it's very simple to set up) and no expensive licensing fees or extended contracts. After the free 3-month trial period, users can choose to enroll for a low monthly fee to continue using the software. Plus, you can cancel at any time—no questions asked.

What are the system or browser requirements?

MyStudentGroups has been fully tested on both Windows and Mac operating systems. All major web browsers are supported, including Internet Explorer 6+, Firefox, and Safari.

How is your software supported?

We provide email support to answer your technical questions and other inquiries. Send your emails to . All emails will be responded to within 1 business day, if not sooner.

What’s Single Sign-On? Why is it important?

Single Sign-On allows for integration with the authentication system currently in place at your school. Students don't need to set up another account, and you can verify student information by virtue of the fact that their identity is confirmed by your present authentication system. Bottom line? Fewer usernames and passwords—and a more streamlined user experience.

Does MyStudentGroups support Single Sign-On?

Absolutely. MyStudentGroups has already been integrated with Single Sign-On systems such as SiteMinder, Shibboleth and reverse proxy SSO implementations. However, it requires a custom integration between MyStudentGroups.com and your school’s current authentication system. As a result, it’s priced separately from the normal service, although this is only a one-time fee (unless the school's authentication system changes).

Is my data secure?

Yes. All user data are secure and protected. Naturally, group information is public; however all budget proposals are private.
